Day...too many

I have received so many encouraging comments from friends all over the country. Thank you. It's not too difficult taking care of someone you love so much. My kids have been wonderful by adding weekly trips to Portland to their schedule to make sure I'm able to get in and out of the hospital. Zachary can be a tour guide for visitors to Portland. He's taken the bus to the mall. He took the wrong one time. I think the four-hour walk back to the hospital cured that mishap from happening again. :0) He has been downtown to the Rose festival; he's taken the tram; he's been to the movies. While he's off on his journeys, I'm able to spend all day with my t, Bob

Bob was taken completely off of the ventilator. He's breathing all on his own. Also, the nurse said he's back to his baseline that he was the first time around. Now, he goes forward with progress. He stepped back to do it better this time, the second time.
