Tomorrow is the BIG one-year survivor party, and the crying has already begun. We went to the VA TCU where Bob stayed for five months. I timed it so we arrived at shift change. That way, we were able to see more staff. They were excited to see Bob. The gave him big hugs and encouraging words. Yes, he was choked up.
T's parents arrived today. His sister and her husband arrived yesterday. It's so nice to have them here to celebrate with us.
T walked out on the porch to greet his parents. He did not use any assistance. That was a far cry from how he looked the last time they saw him a year ago. What a good feeling that was!
Sad news-Gary Coleman, an actor, died of a brain aneurysm today. He was only 42 years old.
