Welcome note

When my husband and I set out to find and take pictures of wheelchair accessible waterfalls in every U.S. state, we were excited about the challenge. We gave ourselves no time limit to accomplish our feat; however, we had one mutually agreed upon rule that dictated how long we would stay in any given area. That rule was to never shiver again. Needless to say, adhering to this rule presented a new challenge. The new challenge was to find a waterfall that was actually flowing. Visiting mid-west and eastern states during months that prevented us from shivering are the same months that are hot enough to dry up streams; hence, little or no water flow for waterfalls. The natural scenery and picturesque landscapes warrant a second visit in the early spring right after the snow melts.

23 days to go...

Bob's room was changed from C-111 to C112, across the hall. I don't know the reason, but that's ok. Now he is next to the window. So, he has a nice view of a grassy lawn and gardens.

Only three weeks to go! Discharge date is March 16th. That is two months shy of a full year. Bob went to the hospital May 14th at 2am.

I spoke with my T a few times today. He's finally getting his deep voice back. Until now, his voice sounded muffled. The more his brain heals, the more his voice and speech are coming back. I'll call his cell phone just to hear his voice mail. One of his friends in Fairmont, MN who's in radio, sent me recordings of Bob. I listen to those to give me a smile when I'm missing my T.

He let two messages on my phone today to come pick his up. He didn't want to stay any longer, and he didn't have a car. I waited a few hours before I called back, hoping he'd forget why he called. He didn't forget, but he was ok staying there. He's glad that he only has three weeks to go.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for the good future that You have prepared for me. Today I choose to come into agreement with Your Word and declare Your blessing over my life. Keep me close to You as I surrender every area of my life to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
