May 14th was the day Bob had his ruptured brain aneurysm. It was a Wednesday night at 2am in the morning. It's hard to believe it has almost been one year. My how time flies when your having fun! :-p
Bob had a good day today. he went to the dentist. No cavities! I guess he didn't have too many sweets over the year. :-)
Bob walked with a cane for a short distance. Woo-hoo! He did well. The cane he used was given to me by a friend who used it to guide cattle. How appropriate for Bob to use it!
May 29th - Party at the United Methodist Church in Roseburg. Party 2 - Cocktails at the firepit at our house at 8pm.
Many waterfalls in the USA are not accessible by wheelchair. Bob, my husband, and I are traveling the USA to search for waterfalls accessible by wheels (wheelchairs, bikes, strollers).
Welcome note
When my husband and I set out to find and take pictures of wheelchair accessible waterfalls in every U.S. state, we were excited about the challenge. We gave ourselves no time limit to accomplish our feat; however, we had one mutually agreed upon rule that dictated how long we would stay in any given area. That rule was to never shiver again. Needless to say, adhering to this rule presented a new challenge. The new challenge was to find a waterfall that was actually flowing. Visiting mid-west and eastern states during months that prevented us from shivering are the same months that are hot enough to dry up streams; hence, little or no water flow for waterfalls. The natural scenery and picturesque landscapes warrant a second visit in the early spring right after the snow melts.
