Welcome note

When my husband and I set out to find and take pictures of wheelchair accessible waterfalls in every U.S. state, we were excited about the challenge. We gave ourselves no time limit to accomplish our feat; however, we had one mutually agreed upon rule that dictated how long we would stay in any given area. That rule was to never shiver again. Needless to say, adhering to this rule presented a new challenge. The new challenge was to find a waterfall that was actually flowing. Visiting mid-west and eastern states during months that prevented us from shivering are the same months that are hot enough to dry up streams; hence, little or no water flow for waterfalls. The natural scenery and picturesque landscapes warrant a second visit in the early spring right after the snow melts.

12 days to go...

PARTY
1. You are invited to our house Saturday, March 20 at 2pm - whenever for a Welcome Home party for Bob.
2.There will also be a one-year Survival Party, May 29th for those who need more time to plan. That is Memorial weekend, so you'll have a four-day weekend. More details will be coming.
I believe the professionals taking care of Bob are coming around to my way of thinking. :-0 I spoke with the social worker at the Washington VA. She feels that Bob's memory will improve once he gets home into familiar territory. She said the "team" feels the same way,and they are more comfortable about him going home. woo-hoo! I guess my persistance has paid off.
Bob was laughing at me tonight because I was chanting "Zip zip zippy, zap zap zappy, h, a,p-p-y, I'm happy" It;s good to hear his belly giggle likes he's always had. I was concerned recently about him sliding into depression. I think that is being resolved.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for the good future that You have prepared for me. Today I choose to come into agreement with Your Word and declare Your blessing over my life. Keep me close to You as I surrender every area of my life to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
