Welcome note

When my husband and I set out to find and take pictures of wheelchair accessible waterfalls in every U.S. state, we were excited about the challenge. We gave ourselves no time limit to accomplish our feat; however, we had one mutually agreed upon rule that dictated how long we would stay in any given area. That rule was to never shiver again. Needless to say, adhering to this rule presented a new challenge. The new challenge was to find a waterfall that was actually flowing. Visiting mid-west and eastern states during months that prevented us from shivering are the same months that are hot enough to dry up streams; hence, little or no water flow for waterfalls. The natural scenery and picturesque landscapes warrant a second visit in the early spring right after the snow melts.

9 days to go...

My t remembered everything today, except, he is adamant he is in Vancouver, Canada. At one point, I said I was excited there are only nine days left before he comes home; and he said, "Zip zip zippy, zap zap zappy, h, a, p p y, happy happy happy!" I didn't even cue him to say it. He remembered all on his own.
The puppy has been sleeping with me in our bed. T never did like the idea of a dog in the house, let alone on furniture, ever. He told me today that he'll be kicking Coupe out when he gets home. So, my t is back.
I have read many times, that people who have life threatening experiences change their outlook on life. Bob said today that we are going to treat the rest of our lives like we are on one big vacation. I'm down with that. I, myself, have reordered my priorities. For one, when notices or phone calls come in about medical bills, I just let it "roll" right off my shoulders. There are other things that have moved down my priority list, but for those of you who already know me, I'm a rather mellow person to begin with. After the past ten months' events, now, I'm really really mellow.
PARTY
1. You are invited to our house Saturday, March 20 at 2pm - whenever for a Welcome Home party for Bob.
2. There will also be a one-year Survival Party, May 29th for those who need more time to plan. That is Memorial weekend, so you'll have a four-day weekend. More details will be coming.

A PRAYER FOR TODAY
Heavenly Father, thank You for the good future that You have prepared for me. Today I choose to come into agreement with Your Word and declare Your blessing over my life. Keep me close to You as I surrender every area of my life to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
