Welcome note

When my husband and I set out to find and take pictures of wheelchair accessible waterfalls in every U.S. state, we were excited about the challenge. We gave ourselves no time limit to accomplish our feat; however, we had one mutually agreed upon rule that dictated how long we would stay in any given area. That rule was to never shiver again. Needless to say, adhering to this rule presented a new challenge. The new challenge was to find a waterfall that was actually flowing. Visiting mid-west and eastern states during months that prevented us from shivering are the same months that are hot enough to dry up streams; hence, little or no water flow for waterfalls. The natural scenery and picturesque landscapes warrant a second visit in the early spring right after the snow melts.

Oregon or Iowa?

AAAAA...Bob gave me a scare today. He looked outside and said that we lived in Iowa. Well, that wasn't something new. he's been saying that for months upon months. What scared me was that he said he wants to move back to Iowa. I helped him understand that even though I grew up in PA, where it snows a lot, I hate snow, and he couldn't ride his Harley year-round in Iowa. I told him if he wants snow, we can drive to the snow any day.
ahhh...thank goodness, he agreed. So, for today, we're not moving. :-)
Everyday, we plan on getting the wii out to begin wiiFit. So far, it hasn't happened. Our intentions are good. Aren't they? Yes!
Memory-wise, we reviewed a commodities training manual published by the Chicago Board of Trade. I thought the other day I was finally understanding the whole concept. Now, today, I don't think I understand much. Back to the high stress level. Ugh...
Zachary plays the trumpet with the choir tomorrow in church. Keep him in your thoughts. Also, some of the choir men/friends are going to help Bob walk up the steps into the choir loft so he can sing with the basses instead of sitting alone in front of the choir. I know he's going to cry.
PARTY
There will be a one-year Survival Party, May 29th for those who need more time to plan. That is Memorial weekend, so you'll have a four-day weekend. More details will be coming.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the good future that You have prepared for me. Today I choose to come into agreement with Your Word and declare Your blessing over my life. Keep me close to You as I surrender every area of my life to You. In Jesus' Name. Amen.
