I should have seen this coming. Bob has lost an entire year, but in his mind, he hasn't lost a day. He knows that it is 2010, but when I talk to him about clients and trading, he swears he just spoke the them, as if it were yesterday. He gets angry with me when I tell him that it has been a year or more since he's spoken to a client. It's an argument not worth arguing.
He's doing great with watching charts and keeping up with the quotes. We're working on reading all the news articles that play a role in making the quotes go up or down. Being a commodities broker is hard mental work. I'm not sure I have enough brain space for it all. :-)
