Welcome note

When my husband and I set out to find and take pictures of wheelchair accessible waterfalls in every U.S. state, we were excited about the challenge. We gave ourselves no time limit to accomplish our feat; however, we had one mutually agreed upon rule that dictated how long we would stay in any given area. That rule was to never shiver again. Needless to say, adhering to this rule presented a new challenge. The new challenge was to find a waterfall that was actually flowing. Visiting mid-west and eastern states during months that prevented us from shivering are the same months that are hot enough to dry up streams; hence, little or no water flow for waterfalls. The natural scenery and picturesque landscapes warrant a second visit in the early spring right after the snow melts.

Test yourself...

Zachary had a concert and BBQ for his high school band this afternoon. Bob and I ventured out to attend. We had an enjoyable afternoon. Bob walked a long way. We didn't take the wheelchair with us, so he wouldn't be tempted to use it.

Curious about my new MS medication? I am too. I haven't seen any obvious difference yet. I have noticed, though, that my legs are aching more. I believe that my legs haven't had nerve conduction for so long that they didn't feel pain of any level. If the medication is working, my muscles are able to send pain signals back to my brain. So...maybe it is working. It's been two weeks. Research shows results from 4-6 weeks.

This is NOT a joke. If you were able to pass these 3 tests, you can cancel
your annual visit to your neurologist. Your brain is great and you're far from having a close relationship with Alzheimer.

Congratulations!
